
The National Women’s Soccer League Denver expansion team announced Jen Millet as the club’s first president Thursday. She is the two-month-old team's first hire.
Millet previously served as the Chief Operation Officer for Bay FC where she oversaw major success in merchandise sales and day-to-day business operations during the team’s first season. As president, Millet is set to lead the entirety of Denver NWSL’s business operations, such as partnerships, ticket sales, marketing and venue operations.
Millet joins Denver NWSL with the experience of multiple leadership positions in financial operations, including her position as COO with Bay FC, Chief Marketing Officer of the Golden State Warriors and the vice president of consumer marketing for Pandora.
Bay FC finished their 2024 season ranked in the top three for ticketing sales. They also ranked first in merchandise sales.
“Jen stood out amongst an extensive list of qualified candidates,” controlling owner Rob Cohen said in a statement. “Jen’s understanding of soccer, building world-class brands, ability to engage the community and passion for creating a culture of excellence made her the ideal fit to run our club.”
A Denver native and University of Colorado Boulder graduate, the president-to-be will be returning to her home state. In a press release announcing her hiring, Millet expressed excitement for her new gig.

Together, we will create a culture of excellence and innovation, bringing the joy of women's soccer to Denver and inspiring the next generation of athletes,” Millet said.
NWSL Denver, which hasn’t announced a team name, has been moving fast to prepare for its 2026 season debut. The team plans to build a stadium off of I-25 and Sante Fe Boulevard, along with a temporary stadium and training facility in Centennial. NWSL Denver, which hasn’t announced a team name, broke records this week after selling 10,000 ticket deposits.
